For Your Consideration - 'Wet Season' - Anthony Chen and Joan Chen

For Your Consideration (Jan 22 - Feb 11, 2021) presents a conversation with 'Wet Season' Director Anthony Chen and Joan Chen.

Written and directed by Anthony Chen ('Ilo, Ilo'), this intimate drama focuses on Ling (Yann Yann Yeo), a Mandarin-language teacher who struggles to endure a loveless, childless marriage when she sparks a bond with wide-eyed student Wei Lun. The boy’s youthful enthusiasm and interest in Ling soon grow more than either expected, facing her with a set of choices.

For the 17th consecutive year, the California Film Institute presents a selection of Oscar® submissions from around the world.
