Sigma 60-600mm test on RED Komodo

Описание к видео Sigma 60-600mm test on RED Komodo

I have been looking for a "long reach" lens for quite some time and decided to test the Sigma 60-600m F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports. I still do a lot of still work and was looking for a utility lens.

My three (3) big issues I wanted to evaluate were AF & IS on the RED Komodo with the lens and focus breathing. I can say that AF &IS work flawlessly and there is next to zero focus breathing.

The range of the lens is pretty impressive and having the ability to attach a 2x teleconverter giving me 1200mm range is fantastic. The overall sharpness of the lens is pretty good and better then my 70-200mm f2.8 MK1 version.

There is no grading of the image, its straight out of the Komodo utilizing IPP2 in Davinci Resolve set to REC709. No sharpening or noise reduction (there is a spot which I believe is on the lens and not on the sensor, or at least I am hoping that until I get a chance to investigate a bit.further)

I am utilizing the Breaththrough Photographys X4 VND drop in filter which is simply amazing...there is no other VND I have found the is as accurate (i.e. no color shift) and has such a large range.
