This is the third promotion test I've done to raise a character's placement in my upcoming tier list. I was originally going to include Zhang Fei in this video as well, but gave up after my 10th attempt in Mt. Qi.

Despite Nu Wa's lackluster defense, she is built JUST WELL ENOUGH to abuse one specific game mechanic to get her through Mt. Qi, the most hellish stage of DW5XL. That mechanic is Token-chaining

Nu Wa has two massive advantages: (1) an almost-perfect 4th weapon with CHARGE, FILL, ATK, SPD which makes her an extremely fast filler during Rage, and (2) her 3-hit mounted charge that targets only one side, allowing her to comfortably rack up KOs outside of Rage to get another Token.

Thanks to this achievement, Nu Wa has officially joined the high tier, but she'll have to be content with sitting at the very bottom, for having arguably the worst defense in that entire tier.
