I flew 13 hours from LAX to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines on the Airbus A350-900 (359). On my way to check in, I realized with my Business Class ticket on Turkish Airlines, I could go into the Polaris Lounge. But, I had to drop off my bags at TBIT...later found THE most clutch hack and how I'll be avoiding TBIT from here on out on EVERY SINGLE international flight.

As for the Turkish Airlines Business Flight, here are some pointers.
1. Most of the planes in business class are 2x4x2, 1x2x1, and 2x2x2. The ones with the most privacy are 1x2x1 and these tend to be the newer planes. If you're in a 1x2x1 and traveling solo, choose the even numbered seats as they have more privacy
2. Once you get into Istanbul, there's really not much a difference if you go to miles&smiles lounge or the business class lounge. It's pretty much the EXACT SAME THING, minus a few minor differences
3. If you're connecting in Istanbul, make sure to give yourself at least an hour before any connections as the airport is pretty big and it's quite a trek to get from international terminal over to domestic
