Traxxas Jato 3.3 Unboxing

This past weekend I came down with a bad case of the flu and ended up staying in bed most of the week. The day this video was filmed I was just starting to feel better. My fiancee got me a nice get well present. The Traxxas Jato 3.3 in orange. It was $396.99 at Sweitzers Hobby Depo in York PA. It comes ready to run with the EZ Start 2 system, top fueler fuel bottle, extra glow plug, 2.4 ghz TQ transmitter, body with decals, EZ Start 2 battery pack with charger, tools and instructions, and award winning setup, break in and tuning DVD by a Traxxas employee who appears to wear eye liner. This model from Traxxas will run 65+ mph after broken in and tuned. It has a two speed transmission. Traxxas sells a one speed conversion kit which removes the second gear making the truck ROAR legal. The truck has a blue tuned pipe. The included wheelie bar is mandatory equipment as this thing will pick the front wheels up even in 2nd gear!

I didn't get to run the truck much as I was low on fuel and because of the weather. I did manage to get it broken in however I had a hard time trying to get it tuned right. I chalk this up to the engine not getting hot enough to operate properly and me being a newbie to this hobby and learning as I go. Over all I am very pleased with the package and think it's a good deal for the price she paid. There will be high speed pass videos to come very soon once I get it tuned right.
