Jose Orlando Padron came to America from Cuba with a few dollars and a dream. He couldn't find Cuban cigars anywhere in his new country, so he decided to make one himself. His buddy had given him a small hammer as a gift. Padron used this hammer on jobs. Eventually he saved up enough money to start a small cigar company. This small cigar company is one large empire today.
Padron is a household name, even if you don't smoke cigars. In the cigar industry, the cigar community, and among cigar enthusiasts, Padron is held in very high regards. As it should be. It's an impeccable cigar of the highest possible quality.
I know some cigar smokers who only smoke Padron and nothing else. Padron spoils cigar smoker because every cigar is perfect and is exactly the way Jose Padron intended it to be. This is very unlike Cuban cigars, which are all different and not very reliable.
Now the empire has Jorge Padron at the helm. Jorge is continuing his father's legacy one cigar at a time.
