Setting up voicemail on your Android phone is straightforward. Here are the steps to get your voicemail up and running:

Open the Phone App: Locate the phone app on your Android device. It usually looks like a phone receiver icon at the bottom of the home screen.
Access Voicemail Setup:

Press and hold the “1” key on the keypad. If it’s your first time setting up voicemail, you might see a message that says, “To set up voicemail, go to Menu Settings.” Tap “OK” on the message prompt.

If pressing the “1” key dials your voicemail service directly, listen to the prompts for instructions on completing the setup process.
Navigate to Voicemail Settings:

Tap the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select “Settings” from the menu.
Scroll down and tap “Voicemail”.
Advanced Settings:

Tap “Advanced Settings”.
Choose “Service” (usually the first option in the list).
Set Up Voicemail Number:
Tap “My carrier”.
Then tap “Setup”.

You’ll see an area labeled “Voicemail number” with the value “Not set.”
Tap “Voicemail number” and enter your mobile phone number. Tap “OK” to save.

Complete the Setup:
Return to the phone app.

Press and hold the “1” key again. This will dial your voicemail.
Listen to and follow the instructions to complete the process.
You’ll likely be asked to set up an outgoing greeting, configure a password, and select some playback settings.
