If you've seen my other deer and hog hunting videos, you know the struggle of getting harvested animals into the bed of my truck. After dealing with that hassle one too many times, I decided to build a permanent game hoist station right at my deer/hog blind. This setup makes loading game into the truck bed much easier—and saves my back!

Materials Used:

(2) 4"x4"x12' Pressure-Treated Lumber

(3) 4"x4"x8' Pressure-Treated Lumber

(4) 5/8" x 8" Galvanized Carriage Bolts w/ washers & nuts

(14) 3/8" x 7" Galvanized Lag Screws

(4–5) Mending Plates (4mm or greater)

(7) 3/8" x 3 1/2" Lag Screws

(4) 24" x 1/4" Rebar Rods

(1) Gallon of 50/50 Diesel Fuel & Used Motor Oil (for wood treatment)
