Zheng Shuang is a Chinese actress who rose to fame with her role as Chu Yu Xun in "Meteor Shower", becoming the youngest actress to be nominated for Best Actress at the China TV Golden Eagle Award. Shuang was also chosen by Southern Metropolis Daily as one of the "Four Dan actresses of the post-90s Generation".

On January 20, 2021, Zheng Shuang was blacklisted by the Chinese state regulators, forcing all existing entertainment activities relating to her to be canceled after her surrogacy scandal. Followed that, she was probed for tax evasion and a sky-high salary exceeding government-approved limits, where she was paid $24.6 million for 77 days of filming — $320,000 a day — for her role in the series “A Chinese Ghost Story.”
