The download is ~500 MB. Installing the game requires 917MB of hard drive space. The game works on Windows 7 and may not work on older Operating Systems.

When installing, a message will pop up saying "Unable to find dsetup.dll". This is fine. Press ok to continue installation.

You can play with a Xbox controller. However, in the likely event you do not have an Xbox controller for your computer, here is a rundown of the controls:
Up, down, left, and right arrows move the character.
Space bar interacts with the environment (switches, windows).

There may be some bugs in the game. I will begin to keep a list of known bugs for reference.

ShadowMaster is the latest example of a team game project designed and created by four students studying at the Guildhall at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

ShadowMaster is a 2D top-down spatial puzzle game with a twist. The player controls a necromancer, named Gary, and Gary's shadow simultaneously. The player has the ability to project his shadow away and call his shadow back to him. This mechanic becomes the basis of solving several increasingly difficult spatial puzzles.
