In order to install some new Roboteos Ultralight solar panels on the roof of my 2022 Mercedes Sprinter Van I had to build a roof rack. It seemed silly to pay for any of the excessively heavy and expensive roof rack options out there so I built my own using Moxitec, as well as making a carbon fiber fairing for the front. With the thin solar panels, this is the lightest and lowest profile roof rack I'm aware of.
