"The Boys of Barr na Sráide" (the boys from the top of the street) is a lyric poem by Irish poet Sigerson Clifford. It was later set to music and has become a popular song. The singer is Donie Nolan from west Limerick. The poet grew up partly in the town of Cahersiveen, County Kerry, Ireland, which is the locale for the song. The lyrics mention the folk tradition of boys "hunting the wren" on St. Stephen's Day, as well as Irish War of Independence, the Irish Civil War, and emigration.
