When Fred DeWard rang me and asked if I would be interested in following a "ROCK HOUND" around Queensland I was intrigued, and after some discussion agreed to this 12 month project.
I shot the minerals in this video in a "Tin" shed in Hughunden Queensland in 2002 where the temperature was 42*. The turntable was home made and I used an AEG Variable speed "Drill" to drive the truntable. It was lit with minature 'di-croic' lamps reflected off polystyrene. All footage was shot on DIGITAL BETACAM. The Mining and Mineral history of Queensland is on Display - This is the intro for an Interactive DVD I produced in 2003 - 16 YEARS AGO !!!
