When Travis Scott was making his album Rodeo a song that he had worked on with Mitus and Metro Boomin was a version of FML. During the same period Kanye West was working on his album, TLOP, and had a song "Piss On Your Grave" which was slated to feature Paul McCartney. Kanye and Travis decided that the songs they were making fit on each others albums better and ultimately switched tracks, with Travis being replaced by the Weeknd on Kanye's final version of FML.
