On the evening of Wednesday, February 25, 2026, a power failure incident resulted in a REM light metro service slowdown.

It also resulted in a very unique situation where the REM train used only one track for both directions between Roxboro-Pierrefonds Station and Deux-Montagnes Station.

In this video, I recorded a ride between Île-Bigras and Deux-Montagnes stations showing my train going in the Deux-Montagnes direction using the left side, the opposite track than normal.

I also filmed another video which I'll upload at a later date showing the different announcements, etc from the time the service slowdown started when I happened to be at Brossard Station.

This video was filmed on Wednesday, February 26, 2026 starting at 9:40 pm Eastern Standard Time.
