NDIS Minister Bill Shorten has announced he will retire from politics ahead of the federal election, revealing he will take on a university role next year.

“I think he had an offer too good to refuse,” Mr Milner told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“He had the opportunity to work with 20 people who are really competent, who wanted real change … rather than sit around the Albanese cabinet.”
