Islands CAL - part 1

I'm very happy to present my 2024 crochet along, the Islands CAL! whooop whooop! The patterns in this blanket are inspired by the filet crochet heritage here in my native Iceland. This is the first part of 7 videos I'll be posting daily through the next week.

please note that it's no stress at all to keep up with me or anyone else during the CAL, we all just start at the same time and then everyone crochets along on their own speed.

The original version is made in all white for the main color and then different types of blues for color B, that makes up the backdrop. So it it's a sort of faux filet crochet, withouth the holes in it, so it makes a beautifully drape for a blanket.
