This is a alternative route for Kathmandu to Nuwakot and Rasuwa, nowadays this road is more popular among travelers, you can get plenty of public vehicles, Government of Nepal is planning road tunnel here, tokha chahare road tunnel will reduce the travel time by atleast 50-60 minutes. #tokhanuwakotroad #shivapuriroad
Nuwakot serves as the shortest route for traveling along the Kathmandu-Rasuwagadhi, one of the major trade and transit routes between Nepal and China. The project could potentially reduce transportation costs for bilateral trade by up to fifty percent.
