01 Dodge Grand Caravan Lower Control Arm Replacement

Описание к видео 01 Dodge Grand Caravan Lower Control Arm Replacement

This was my first time replacing the lower control arms. When we had it done around 5 yrs ago at the dealer, we paid over $1,900. I didn't want us to pay that again, so I did it my self. I forgot to show the wrench I had to grind down to tighten the ball joint bolt. Also, the steering is really stiff now. Feels like a race car steering. I'm going to grease the ball joints to see if that helps loosen it up . I replaced the inner tie rods, struts, stabilizing bar endlinks and bushings too.

Edited 4-22-17 - Figured out what was causing the stiffness in the steering. I left out one of the Suspension cradle bolts because I thought I lost the nut for it. I actually found the nut and tightened up the bolt and problem solved. The steering is smoother and returns to center with no problem now. Amazing that one bolt made that much of a difference. Have to have the alignment rechecked now.
