The best of the best Advintage and Penman Indiana Jones Fedoras

I've had that Penman Fedora for five years and the Advintage for about three years. Each have their own distinguishing characteristics but I've come to realize that there isn't much difference between them in terms of quality; at least to the untrained eye. If you can afford It and are patient enough for the wait, get a Penman, but you will not be let down by the Advintage hat either. They are both are awesome hats and are fashioned with high quality materials. What really makes the hats change is actually the shape of your head.

If you have a round shaped head (like mine) the hat with the exact same dimensions will look different on your head compared to a person with a long oval shaped head like Harrison Ford. A round head will push out the sides of the hat brim making it droop a little where your ears are while the long oval shaped head will push out the front and back of the hat more creating the look we see in the movies. (I'll have to make a video to show you) I've collected so many hats because I thought I couldn't find the right shape... until I did by ordering a hat that is lightly stiffer and less floppy. A stiffer hat tends to yield a more desirable for me because my head doesn't deform the brim as much.

Yes the true name of the color is not "brown" but in fact "sable." It's still brown in English.
