T-Link® can be used to create lightweight composite structures that empower performance with processibility in armor applications.

Being an advanced, versatile thermoplastic matrix resin, T-Link® can be extruded into multiple forms including film, veil and yarn.

T-Link® film and veil are dry to the touch for easy handling and are ideal for layering with fiber reinforcement layers.

The yarn form is coated with T-Link® resin for consistent and precise content. T-Link® yarn is available in three different grades and is also ideal for layering. A key datapoint highlighted in the Digital Demo is the fact that T-Link® yarn provides 12.6% better ballistics performance by weight compared to Detail Specification MIL-DTL-62474F defined aramid composites. This can be beneficial for applications such as:
