Silent Hiking 70 Miles in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho

5 days and 68 miles in Idaho's Sawtooth Mountains. I did this hike in late June, 2024.

1:40 Day 1: 25 km (15.5 miles) / 1,100 meters elevation gain
7:30 Camping at Hidden Lake
9:20 Day 2: 25 km (15.5 miles) / 600 meters elevation gain
13:47 Camping on the South Fork Payette River Trail: it was difficult to find camping spots down in the valley, but I found a good spot immediately after crossing the river
14:58 Day 3: 30 km (18.5 miles) / 1,000 meters elevation gain
17:55 Camping South of Sawtooth Lake: I was only 1 mile from the big lake, but had already covered more distance than I had intended. There were very few camping places on this section.
19:00 Day 4: 19 km (12 miles) / 580 meters elevation gain
21:30 Camping at Marshall Lake
23:00 Day 5: 8 km (5 miles) / 100 meters elevation gain
