In this podcast, I reflect on my experiences visiting Torres del Paine National Park in Chile over the past 21 years. I describe the park as a 'fickle, changeable beast' because of its dramatic and unpredictable weather, which can make capturing the landscape's full beauty a challenge. Despite this, I've developed a deep connection with the park, likening it to an 'old friend' I've grown up with. I discuss the balance between seeking new perspectives and embracing the familiarity of revisiting the same subjects, acknowledging that not all work needs to be groundbreaking; sometimes, it's about being present in the moment. I've also noticed a shift in my photography towards a more minimalistic approach, aiming to capture the essence of the landscape in a simpler way.
