BIBLE REFERENCES & CHAPTERS BELOW 📖⬇️
Sometimes we expect to understand things that are beyond us, like the mysterious interplay between our will and God’s will. How can we marry ideas like predestination and free will? Is it God holding fast to us, or us holding fast to Him that ultimately leads to salvation? Some people think once we believe we are eternally secure because of verses about the power of God’s love and will. Others point to all the verses that call us to hold fast, endure and examine ourselves, or other verses that talk about believers losing their faith. Do we have to perfectly understand these things, or can we trust that the Lord will carry us through if we continue to believe?
