Great British Shooting: Welcome to a brand new series in which we celebrate all that is great about shooting in Britain. From world-renowned driven shoots on prestigious country estates, through to walked up "rough shoots" on farms and smallholdings, we meet some of the incredible characters that bring our shooting days together.

Episode Seven – It’s Ladies Game Day at Ripley Castle. Members of The Shotgun & Chelsea Bun Club have come together to enjoy a fantastic day Game Shooting, not forgetting a glass of pink Champagne and a cake or two.

The Shotgun & Chelsea Bun Club is one of the largest ladies shooting club in the country. Key to the clubs success is the relaxed, friendly environment where ladies of all social backgrounds can come and enjoy some outstanding game shooting.

The club cater for everyone and there will always be a good mixture of abilities, from experienced Lady Guns all the way to absolute beginners.

The community sprit is vital to the success of an S&CBC Game Day, so when a beginner shoots their very first bird it is an extra special moment for the entire club.
