Manchester is decked out with rainbow colours and flags ahead of the Manchester Pride festival.

The festival, celebrated over the August bank holiday, takes place from Friday, August 25, to Monday, August 28.

The parade will take place on Saturday from midday, taking a route through the city centre.

And most of the festivities will be taking place within the Gay Village, with a variety of stages with headline performances from the likes of Danny Beard, Conchita, Lady Bushra, Natasha Bedingfield, Gok Wan, Cheddar Gorgeous, and Jodie Harsh.
