About the Guest
Dr. Sudha Mysore is currently the CEO of Agrinnovate India Limited, a Government of India Company established under DARE/ICAR, associated with tech transfer, commercialization & start-up support through the National Agricultural Research System (NARS). Prior to this, she was a Principal Scientist at ICAR- Indian Institute of Horticulture Research, Bangalore, with 33 years of work experience in ICAR; Dr. Sudha Mysore is a Double Fulbright Fellow having won ‘Pre-Doctoral’ and ‘Post-doctoral Fellowships’ with rich working experience at Cornell University and Michigan State University, East Lansing, USA. Her research efforts include Economic Analysis, Impact Assessment Research, and Technology Transfer & Commercialisation & Incubation. She has handled various research programs sponsored by World Bank, NAIP, ICAR, AP cess fund, etc., Her international recognitions include working and presenting at Cornell University & Michigan State University, USA; HORDI - Sri Lanka, Bioversity International, UNEP-GEF the program, Business School, Toulouse, France, IAAE, Beijing, China, and Chaingmai Thailand, Fruit net, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Agrinnovate India Limited (AgIn) is a Government of India enterprise, a company owned by the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE/ICAR), started in 2011. It is the 'one-stop-shop' for all agricultural technologies that have been developed by years of research from 100 or more agricultural research institutions under ICAR. Market ready, regulatory compliant, and proven technologies covering the entire value chain of agriculture, from seed/planting material to bio inputs, diagnostics, testing kits, value-added products from food grains, horticulture, dairy, animal husbandry, and fisheries. AgIn licenses out these technologies to enthusiastic entrepreneurs for a license fee coupled with royalty for a period of five years or so on a non-exclusive basis. AgIn has commercialized over 175 technologies and has earned a gross realization of over Rs 675 lakhs between 2018-2021.
