RAAF F-111 tribute feat. TV Rock - "In The Air"

Tribute to showcase and celebrate the life of the F-111 fleet and honour all of the men and women who flew, maintained and supported this platform during its service to the Royal Australian Air Force.

Screened at the Pigs' Tales Last Hurrah Family BBQ at RAAF Base Amberley on 3 December, 2010.

While the F-111's introduction into service was controversial, it quickly found its way into the hearts and minds of Australians. It's unique 'dump-and-burn' display in which the fuel is ignited, intentionally, using the plane's afterburner was popular.
