Prof. Jagdish Sheth throws a Diwali Party, all the foreign students are invited by Prof. Sheth at his home and thrown a big party like a typical Indian party. He still maintains that, Indian culture at his house.

His wife (Madhuri Shah) played an impactful role in his life. She considers his wife the backbone of his achievements. He says, "His wife is the most courageous woman, he has ever met in his life." She holds his family like glue for all the relatives.

According to Prof. Jagdish Sheth, a teacher must be very well researched. The teacher should be enthusiastic to learn. Enthusiasm is something, that comes naturally, and learn over time by your own will. He inspired so many young scholars to be in the marketing field than other fields due to his great honorarium achievements in the marketing field.

Philips Kotler, an economist, calls him Philanthropist, Entrepreneur, and an academician." It makes an Indian a good Indian contribute back to the society.
