How To Use An Outdoor Yard Stake Timer
Using this timer is quite simple once you know the control layout. You'll notice half the number have a dark background and the other half is white. This shows you daytime vs night. 7 am through 6 pm is shaded in white and 7 pm through 6 am is shaded white. The inner circle has an arrow that says "Time Now". This is how you select the current time. Simply rotate the outer ring until the arrow is pointing at the correct time. Noon is depicted with a Sun symbol and midnight is depicted with a half moon symbol.

How To Program An Outdoor Yard Stake Timer
Around the outer ring, you'll notice a bunch of grey segmented buttons that can be lowered or raised. When a button is in the "DOWN" position this means "ON" When a button is in the "UP" position this means "OFF".

Example: If you want your lights to be on from 6 pm until midnight, following the numbers chronologically, all of the buttons from the "6" on the white side through the "11" on the dark side will be pushed down. All other buttons will be in the "UP" position.

Yard Stake Timers Can Turn Lights On And Off Multiple Times A Day
If you would like your lights or decorations to turn on in the evening, then turn off in the middle of the night, and once again turn back on in the early morning and off after sunrise, this is easy to set up. Every grey button represents "30 Minutes". Anytime the timer goes from a button in the down position to a button in the up position, it will turn the power off. When going from up position to down, the power will be turned on. You can set up to 48 different on/off events with a single timer.

Example: If you want your lights on from 8 pm until 11 pm and on from 4 am until 7 am, the down position buttons will be from 8 to 11 on the dark side and 4 to 7 on the light side. All other buttons will be in the "UP' position. You can watch our video to see visually how the timer buttons will look with both examples.
