DOES DISNEYLAND CATER TO DISABLED PEOPLE? | Our Experience With Special Needs Kids & What We Bought

Описание к видео DOES DISNEYLAND CATER TO DISABLED PEOPLE? | Our Experience With Special Needs Kids & What We Bought

If you watch my channel you will know that we recently came back from a trip to Disneyland Paris. We are a special needs family of six, two of our children have disabilities. My son, Zachary has Autism and my daughter, Avery has Cerebral Palsy, Dystonia and is G Tube Fed. In this video I share what our experience was like at Disneyland with special needs kids.

We only went to Disneyland Paris for two nights, so it was a very action packed trip. If we ever have the opportunity to go again I think we would go for longer so we could take time to rest. My husband and I were exhausted by the end of this trip, but we just wanted to make the most of the time we were there and experience as much as we had time for.

We flew to Paris with Easyjet from Gatwick Airport, we had pre arranged special assistance at the airport in an attempt to make the process smoother, especially since we were carrying a lot of liquids and medications since Avery is fed a specialised feed via her G Tube.

At Disneyland Paris we had pre registered from Priority Access Cards which we needed to collect from City Hall on our first day in the parks. During the video I talk about how this helped with our long days in the parks.

We got to ride lots of rides, even Avery came on a few, like Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean (we didn't know about the drops!!) We even got to do a meet and greet with Olaf, which was very special for our family, if you're not new here you will know Avery is Frozen mad and loves Olaf.

Our trip to Disneyland will was amazing, despite being so hectic. We covered a lot of 'firsts' on this trip. My daughter and step son's first plane journey, our sons' first time on a rollercoaster with inversions, my husband and children's first Disneyland trip, and my first as an adult.

It was also our first trip abroad as a whole family and we made precious memories that will be cherished forever.

I hope you enjoy the video and find it helpful when planning your trip to Disney, especially if you have additional needs or have children with additional needs. The extra steps we took really saved the day for us.

I would love it if you would SUBSCRIBE and follow along on our journey, making memories and creating an amazing life, while adapting to additional and complex medical needs.
