The second most popular cryptocurrency has been in the doldrums lately. With the Ethereum token price following the pack in a downward spiral, many are wondering if it will ever become a mainstream method of money exchange.

For now it seems it’s more of a platform for other digital currencies (90,000 to be precise), as well as investing and trading. Crypto captured the imagination of the wider public only as a vehicle for making quick profits and musings like “what is Ethereum smart contract”, didn’t cross too many people’s minds. Why is Ethereum going down, on the other hand, has concerned a fair few during 2018, as it still remains popular among cryptotraders.

But with mass adoption still set for some time in the future, questions revolving around the core issues - “What can you do with Ethereum? What is Ethereum used for?”, still abound and can’t be answered by the average person.

This isn’t an Ethereum blockchain tutorial for beginners but you will see the Ethereum token explained and get some insight into why Ethereum is better than Bitcoin.
