we have found on the hp g7 now that they are a couple of years old that with being carried around we are starting to have issue with the screens attachments

we have found that disconnecting and reattaching both ends of the screens cable normally fixes the screen form.apeering dark or at leaste very dull

this video shows how it is done and give a bit more information if this doesn't work
