Non-Translatable Ayurvedic Words

Dr Bhaswati Bhattacharya explains why certain Sanskrit words used in Ayurveda cannot be accurately translated into English because those concepts are not found in Western science. The examples explained include: krimi (nowadays being called microbiome), agni, ama, grahi, bhasma, rasa, shodhana, and dosha. She also critiques the western tendency of positivism in science.
