A short video of one of the Dams where 617 Squadron practised their low level flying skills, in preparation of for the attacks on the Möhne, Eder and Sorpe dams. The other Dams used for practise were the Eyebrook Reservoir, near Uppingham, Rutland; Abberton Reservoir near Colchester and Fleet Lagoon on Chesil Beach. Wallis's bomb itself was first tested at the Elan Valley Reservoirs.
