A video documenting the 140 Years of Sydney Congress Hall band. The Band was formed in December 1882 with the commencement of the Salvation Army in Sydney Australia know originally as Sydney Number 1 band.

Sydney Congress Hall Band has conducted several overseas tours including New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA, Canada with countless national tours.

Since the bands early day it has been at the forefront of innovation and outreach, adapting to the needs of the day musically and spiritually.

Today Sydney Congress Hall Band operates in 2 formats. Sydney Congress Hall Band, that participates and assists in Sunday services and Sydney Congress Hall Band & Friends. Sydney Congress Hall Band & Friends consists of Salvationists and supporters of the band that gather together every Wednesday night for rehearsals and fellowship. Sydney Congress Hall Band & Friends performs regular concerts and assists in Divisional gatherings when required.
