Sigma Nu's Gamma Chi Chapter, est. 1896, was the first fraternity at the University of Washington. Our brothers join generations of Huskies who have set the standard for Greek men on campus for over 100 years by living according to the ideals of Love, Truth, and Honor; as well as our founding principle of direct opposition to hazing. Our brotherhood has recently garnered prestigious distinctions among our active membership, including the Husky 100 Award, various UW IFC Awards, the Mr. Greek philanthropy award, and national Sigma Nu awards to name a few.

Our chapter house, in addition to being steeped in history, now enjoys some of the most modern comforts and advancements on the row, thanks to improvements sponsored and coordinated by our active alumni network. Most important to us was providing our beloved chef of 20+ years, and the heart of our fraternity, Geri, a fully upgraded commercial kitchen so that she may continue to serve our brotherhood in the innumerable ways that make Sigma Nu a true "home away from home."
