Snowboard Traction Pad / Stomp Pad Instructions and Tips

How do you install a stomp pad aka traction pad? It's pretty easy and most come with instructions but here's the summary for both Dakine and Burton that we've applied. In this video, we apply the Dakine Pyramid Studs Stomp Pad, as you may notice I didn't use all the Studs only the amount I wanted.

Stomp Pad Instruction Summary
1. Clean the surface.
2. Think about WHERE you want it, take a minute to do this don't just stick it down...where do you actually put your foot on your board.
3. Add painter's tape or something to mark where you want it, you only get one try to do it right.
4. Warm it up a little. I imagine a hair dryer would work too. You don't want a freezing board from your car but be careful when using a heat gun don't melt anything!

4. Wait a bit
5. No longer have your foot slip off your snowboard
