Surfing Medewi : Bali's longest wave

Located on Bali’s west coast, a few hours drive from the crowds of Kuta is Medewi.

The wave, is considered to be one of the longest in Bali, a soft peeling point break left that reels down the reef and into the bay. Perfect for all kinds of surfing, from walking to the nose, to throwing buckets on every turn.

Medewi is more than just another surf spot, the village is like a time capsule taking you back to a more pure time in Bali’s history. Medewi is covered in rice paddy’s nestled between mountains and the surf. This quiet village offers plenty of secluded accomodations, as well as beach front hotels and restaraunts. There are also plenty of places to unwind and pamper yourself, far removed from the crowds and party scene of Kuta, Cangguu and Padang.

If you are looking for a more mellow vibe in and out of the surf, then Medewi is a must when experiencing Bali.
