I haven't been throwing much these last few months because I've been dealing with some stuff. 

In September, we found out our dog Gator's kidney's were failing. He was 15 years old and his body was just giving out on him. We knew we didn't haven much time left with him. So we did our best to make him as comfortable as we could for as long as we could. On October 10, we said goodbye.

This was a hard loss for me. For the first 6 years of Gator's life, it was just him and me. That boy went everywhere with me. I took him to work, on road trips, anywhere he was welcome. He was my baby Gator. It's been a month since he's passed and I still find myself looking for him when it's time for bed. 

Ugh. So now I am crying again. This is why my chat is off. I'll turn it back on after I've gotten through this. 

The clay body I am using today is Standard Clay Company 266 Umbria.

The plan for today is to warm up with 3 1 lb balls. I'll be making cylinders that may or may not become bells. 

Then I'll use 2 2 lb balls to experiment with how I am going to make Gator's grave marker. The plan is to make a totem for his grave. I've never made one before so I am experinting with a smaller ball of clay before larger attempts. 


Finally, I will move onto making more plamts pots for my mom with the remaining 3 4 lb balls. 


I am going to do my best to work up some good vibes to send out to the world. It is a beautiful day, so it shouldn't be too hard.
