Описание к видео vintage radios

I don't collect vintage radio recievers, but these two are here on a temporary basis, so thought it would be good to make a short video & upload it for general interest. Both were popular on the British market. The Philco 444 appeared in 1936, and had a valve (tube) that was specially made for it - a double-diode-audio output pentode. The Ekco (E K Cole & Co., Ltd.) had made round-cabinet bakelite radios for some years, but their model A-22, which appeared in 1945, has always been the most iconic of the series, and is perhaps the most collectible radio of its era.
