The Golkonda Dynasty of Deccan, has left a profound imprint on the region. One
such splendid monument of yore, is Taramathi Baradari. It is a royal pavilion, built as an ode to the favourite courtesan of Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah, Taramathi, and located nearly 12 km from the heart of Hyderabad, near Golconda fort.
