In Sanskrit, Darbha is associated with the word “Tej,” which signifies radiance or brilliance.
**Role of Darbha in Rituals:
Shraddha Rituals: Darbha is an essential component in shraddha rituals performed to honor ancestors (Pitars). During these rituals:
Darbha generates Tej (radiance) due to its subtle properties.
The frequencies emitted by Darbha help reduce the interference of raja-tama particles during each step of the shraddha.

Selecting Darbha:
