Chicken Inasal, Sarciadong Isda, Menudo And Suman Malagkit 🇵🇭 | Trying Filipino Union New Jersey

I took the train to Union, New Jersey to try Filipino Food because I heard there were some good Filipino restaurants there. I walked through the door to find one of the best selections of Philippines dishes I had seen around New York. I tried three Filipino dishes for the first time including chicken inasal, menudo and sarciadong isda. You can see by my reaction that I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. I also grabbed some suman malagkit (Filipino steamed rice cake), a type of Pinoy dessert I had not tried. This was one of the best restaurants I’d been to and it was worth the short journey. The owners were very nice in teaching me about Philippine cooking and its history. Go to try this delicious turo turo restaurant (literally meaning to point point in Tagalog) where you can see everything before you eat it. This is the best way to taste Filipino foods in my opinion!
