ESG is a complex concept, with several ramifications impacting different areas of insurers’ activity. Understanding ESG-related regulations and guidelines, as well as how best to take action on ESG or match ESG initiatives with customer needs may prove rather difficult. Also, setting the right pace and targets for adopting a consistent ESG policy is of utmost importance and may have a strong say in differentiating insurers’ offer and quality of service.
