Zoom problem in Canon zoom lens EF 24-70 1:2.8L II USM

This Canon zoom lens EF 24-70 1:2.8L II USM, has been dropped on the floor and then the zoom did not work anymore. But it was "easy" to fix, just take off the bajonet and then the circuit board (take care of the flex cable's)
Then take off the rubber on the zoom ring, and lift up the sticky tape on the thin metal plate.
Set a mark where the encoder brush sit correct, then unscrew the brush.
Unscrew the 2 screws that hold's the connection pin from the zoom ring and take out the zoom ring.
Gently draw the front part of the lens, so the back lens group will go into the lens body, now you can see the "fork" that is the connection from the zoom ring.
