Canvas: 16x20 stretched primed canvas Brushes: 1/2 inch flat bristle (large), #10 round synthetic (medium), #3 round (small)
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, burnt umber (brown), green oxide, deep yellow, fire red
Other: #2 pencil, palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. pencil – Separate canvas into 3 sections with outline
2. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint base coat of water with black
3. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint background with white, yellow, green and brown
4. #10 round brush – Paint 1st layer of bird bath border with brown, black and white
5. pencil – Draw outline of bird
6. #10 round brush – Paint base coat of bird and reflection with red
7. #10 round brush – Finish bird bath border with black, white, brown and gray (made in step 4)
8. #3 round brush – Paint 1st layer of facial feature with red, yellow, white and black
9. #10 round brush – Paint 1st layer of feathers with black, brown, red and yellow
10. #3 round brush – Finish face with black, white, yellow, red and gray
11. #10 round brush – Finish feathers with red, yellow, white and brown
12. #10 round brush – Paint daisies with gray, white, brown and yellow
13. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint reflection in water with yellow, white, green, red and brown
14. #3 round brush - Sign with black
