Now on CCLemon99.com I have been posting daily reviews in the month of April! As a bit of a test I am reviewing every single Akina Nakamori album. It's a two-fold project that both satiates my desire to do so and serves as a test for future projects on the site. Join the fun here: https://www.cclemon99.com/2018/04/aki... A new post everyday!

Welcome to my review of SHFiguarts Full Package Option Set [フルパッケージオプションセット] from Tokkei Winspector [特警ウインスペクター]!

Well...here goes...

I've previously reviewed all three of the Winspector Figuarts and came to the same conclusion. Bandai was charging way too much money for woefully unequipped figures. Obviously this set was planned from the beginning, but at an additional 8100 yen (!) you could own the accessories that these figures should have had in the first place. It's frustrating...BUT...what is the sense in owning these Figuarts without the set? Does this set make these Figuarts worthwhile?

Included in this set is three Multipacks, Gigastreamer (and several extra pieces for it's various modes), Spinclaw, Clapper, two wapper/handcuffs, open and closed versions of Fire's Tokkei Techo, two maintenance tables, and several small pieces to make it all happen.

OK, so you certainly have a lot to work with here. The centerpiece, for me at least, is the Giga Streamer. It does not disappoint. It hooks on to the Maxcalibur fairly easily and really looks rad in any mode. Finally having the Tokkei Techo is also a major win, as are the handcuffs. Naturally everything is of great quality.

Like I've said on basically every review...Bandai really should have made the figures more complete rather than force an extra purchase on the backend. This set is for the person who somehow managed to buy all three of the figures and still had an extra chunk of money to burn. Ugh. The only issue I have with the set itself is that Bikel has a hard time fitting into his Multipack thanks to his Bispears. Small complaint, but it's there.

Like I said, you really had to be pot-committed from the start to even think about continuing collecting these Figuarts past Fire. As soon as you pulled the trigger on Bikel you were pretty much expected to get Walter and the Full Package Set. Bandai absolutely should have either divvied up this set into the individual Figuarts, or released Bikel and Walter as a set. Four releases for what is ostensibly three figures was just a horrible decision. Three was the maximum. If you were ordering from overseas, that meant one extra shipping fee to pay...

That said...it's a great set. It's really a shame that Bandai got in it's own damn way on the Winspector releases since these guys should be in the hands of more collectors. It likely wouldn't have been the death of Metal Hero SHF either.

There it is. I hope you enjoyed my SHF Winspector month. Be sure to check out my Figuarts Playlist for more!
