Making a Shamrock, a St Patrick's Day cocktail.

It's almost here, St. Patrick's Day that is. It is a fun holiday with a lot of fun and tasty cocktails to try and enjoy. Especially a lot of green cocktails. Today we are making one that fit's those requirements. It is green, it is tasty, and it is easy to make. Using Creme de Menthe as the base spirt you get a refreshing minty taste and the green color that makes it festive. Creme de Menthe was originally produced as a digestif, so it makes a great after dinner cocktail. The festive color let's you know that you are celebrating the fact you are Irish, (everybody is Irish on St. Patrick's Day, even the O'Drunkensailor.) Ingredients
1.5 oz Irish Whiskey
.75 oz Green Cream de Menthe
2 oz Cream
Luxardo Cherry
Directions
Pour ingredients into a shaker. Add ice and shake to chill. Strain into a Martini Glass. Garnish with a Cherry.

Jameson's Irish Whiskey
Mr. Boston Creme de Menthe
