Join us on a tour of one of our in house garden trials. Today we discuss how a variety of tomato's grown under the same conditions in a single 3 x 6 ebb and flow hydroponic tray system respond to different lighting systems and controls. In this trial, we partitioned the middle of the tray and allowed for an equal number of tomatoes on each side of the partition. The left side of the partition is referred to as the non-pontoon side in that it is lit by a single Inda-Gro Pro-420-PAR induction light. The right side of the partition is referred to as the pontoon side in that the same Pro-420-PAR induction light has been outfitted with our accessory flowering enhancer that provides a peak 660nm emission for chlorophyll A absorption and a lights out 730nm waveform which mimics the sunset conditions in nature that trigger flowering.
